The St. Louis Cardinals and Cardinals Care has provided a $1.1 million donation to Harris-Stowe State University for the renovation of former Negro League ballpark site Stars Park. The renovation of Stars Park comes as the baseball community celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Negro League this year. The state-of-the-art baseball and softball facilities will include new fields, dugouts, scoreboards, press boxes and seating.
