Program Description

Join GCG for a discussion on environmental health and justice in the St. Louis Region. Guest panelists Dr. Alexander Garza and Leah Clyburn will discuss the connections between COVID-19 and poor environmental health and how air quality can be an indicator of community health. They'll also share the latest findings of environmental racism in St. Louis

Ryan Strode and Katie Balfany of Franciscan Sisters of Mary (FSM) and Doneisha Bohannon of Missouri Foundation for Health will also share how they, as funders, are building local environmental justice organizing capacity and applying a “People’s Solutions Lens” to their grantmaking.
