As the clean up continues from the midwest flooding in june, fears echoing those of the 1993 disaster are being expressed. Flooding jeopardized homes and businesses in as many as five states. Politicians submitted letters to the president and other government agencies, requesting federal and state assistance. While aide continues to arrive the call for help is still being sent out at the local level.
