Commonly Asked Questions

How does Will to Give work?
Nonprofits register to attend a 1.5 hour orientation session during which they will be trained in charitable bequest giving and how to implement a program at their respective organizations.  Nonprofits should attend with a Professional Advisor.  If a nonprofit does not have a Professional Advisor affiliated with their nonprofit than the Center would be happy to pair you with an Advisor who has been through the training.

Why do I need to attend/be matched with a Professional Advisor?

There are many technical aspects related to charitable bequest giving and it is important to have a professional trained in our curriculum who understands the technical aspects of charitable bequest giving who can then help you when you give the presentation to your board or other constituents.
