- Corporate Roundtable
The Corporate Roundtable provides a venue for corporate grantmakers to exchange ideas and share their unique processes, from online grant applications to strategic planning--a network of peers to be called upon as an invaluable resource. It also includes presentations on a broad range of topics of interest to a business audience. (Open to Corporate Full Members and Nonmember Grantmakers)
- Early Childhood Education Funders Affinity Group
The Early Childhood Education Funders Affinity Group is a new group being convened by the Center in 2012. It is being created to help those who are interested in supporting early learning find out more about worthy initiatives, research findings, best practices, and advocacy tools. Group meetings provide learning opportunities for grantmakers and allow them to share educational grant-making experiences with others. (Open to Full Members and Nonmember Grantmakers)
- Education Funders Affinity Group
The Education Funders Affinity Group was created to help those who are interested in supporting education learn more about worthy initiatives, educational research findings and best practices. Group meetings provide learning opportunities for Center members and allow members to share educational grant-making experiences with others. (Open to Full Members and Nonmember Grantmakers)
- Donor-to-Donor Programs
The Donor-to-Donor Program Model (D2D) allows the Center to put your good ideas to work. This fee-for-service programming allows member and non member grantmakers to “buy” Center staff time to put on programs that are consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Center and that also meet the needs of the grantmaking community.
- Family Foundation Roundtable
The Family Foundation Roundtable provides an opportunity for family foundation trustees, board members, and staff to talk with each other about the joys and challenges of family philanthropy and share expertise, experiences, questions, and concerns with others in similar situations. No one pretends to have the one right answer, but there is always thoughtful discussion. The informal roundtable luncheons are held 2-3 times each year. (Open to Family Foundation Full Members, Nonmember Family Foundation Grantmakers and occasionally Associate Members)
- Grantmakers and Collaborations
The Grantmakers and Collaborations was formally know as the Grantmakers and the Economy Affinity Group and began convening in the spring on 2009 in the wake of the economic downturn. In 2011 the group focused on grantmaker collaborations in the St. Louis community and ways to get other funders engaged in working together. (Open to Full Members and Nonmember Grantmakers)
- Grantmaking Skills and Strategies
The Grantmaking Skills and Strategies Group evolved out of the Essential Skills and Strategies Group and in 2011 focused on introducing and training grantmakers on the common grant application and logic models. (Open to All Members and Nonmember Grantmakers)
- Women in Philanthropy
Women in Philanthropy is an informal networking on women in the St. Louis Grantmaking community that come together to network 3-4 times a year over lunch. For more information about hosting a future Women in Philanthropy event click here. (Open to All Members and Nonmember Grantmakers)
